• Clinical lab assistants who complete an approved 12-week course at Central New Mexico Community College or the University of New Mexico can work in multiple laboratory positions.
• 2 years of post-high school credit hours with an emphasis in science prepares you for a position as a technical lab assistant or a laboratory specimen technician.
• Graduates with an associate or bachelor’s degree in medical lab sciences, biology or chemistry are eligible to work as a medical technologist.

Tuition Reimbursement

• Employees may qualify for up to 80 percent reimbursement for tuition at accredited colleges and universities.
